Gramma x 2! —born May 7, 7:45 a.m.
Jean-Luc and Caitlin (nee Martin) and big sister Josephine are thrilled to welcome the arrival of Isabelle Joan on May 7, 2010 at 7:44 am, weighing 8 lbs, 5 oz. Proud grandparents are Jennifer Jilks-Racine (Brian Racine) of Bala, Ontario; Jacqueline Leblanc of Ottawa; Pat Martin (Sharon Campbell) of North Gower; and Geoff Cooke (Carol) of Jacksonville, Florida. Isabelle was welcomed at home with fantastic care by midwives Denise and Jackie of the Midwifery Collective of Ottawa. We are blessed to have had such a wonderful birth, and we thank all those who have helped us. Here is a happy, if tired, Grandpa.

Thanks, Sallie! I'm home sick with a bad cold. I haven't had a cold in 5 years!!!! Argh. Too many late nights with baby and wiping the toddler's nose - but it was worth it to help out!
