Geese on the move

We were driving to Almonte for bird seed, when I spotted the geese in the water filtration ponds. Of course, we had to stop and take a walk.

This is a drive-by shooting, out hubby's window, from my passenger seat! Thousands of geese have gathered.

The path is lovely, I've taken photos there before.  Across from the Auld Kirk and cemetery, is the water treatment plant and the MVFN Trail Potvin Tower, although Mississippi Mills birder sites abound. There are some old, old trees, and the cement brick remainder of an old building.

The sound was amazing. There were thousands of them!
