From snow cover of 35 cm to nothing in 24 hours.

Annabelle slept outside on the bench all afternoon. It was pouring rain, but balmy.
The goldfish pond was melty.
My pile of stacked logs fell down the hill.

Then, it got foggy.
In the warmth of the afternoon, the tree frog began singing! I wasn't sure he was in there. (This video was from 2 years ago, when he similarly came in with the plant. Caitlin found him that year, and put him outside. It's too late, now.)

In the late afternoon, the ice and pellets, then snow.
This is what we woke up to on Saturday morning. I had to clear off the feeders!

The rain hit the house everywhere, the snow stuck when it was blown by the wind.

Hubby used the snowblower, I did the side walk. The deer watched him.
I said, "Let's wait until the sun comes out!"
"Oh, no," he says, "it's not going to clear up."
I ribbed him all afternoon when the sun shone!

I love the wee tracks in the snow. Birds, squirrels, and little mice tracks.

We had 16 cm, I did the front walk with the snow blower, after hubby did the driveway, then finished the walk with the shovel. Voila!
The highlight was the temperature shift. It was 12 C. in the afternoon, after a day of rain, then it dropped from 12 => 5 C. within an hour. The ice pellets fell, then the snow fell. A total of 16 cm. This morning we were back down to the cold, -16 C. The snow cover simply disappeared.

Time lapse! I removed the balls from the tree in the rain. They were filling up inside. Then, the camera pooched out as snow covered the lens!
