Out west it's been hot and dry. They've terrible fires.

At the peak, 25,000 without power.
We had a hazy day. There are wildfires in northern Ontario, as well as nearly 300 fires British Columbia.
The smoke is drifting a long, long way. It's over 4000 km and six of the provinces have smoke.
I am hoping for rain to clear us out.

July sees ongoing heat warnings in B.C. They had lightning strikes, which set things off. Lytton, B.C. faced temperatures of 46.9.

The Long Loch wildfire (K51040) and the Derrickson Lake wildfire (K51041) are in close proximity and estimated to be 300 ha combined in size.
