Camera Critters

What a rainy day! Thank goodness for the Olympics.

COVID UPDATE: We are doing the odd chores, kitty litter, laundry. Joe's been shopping. I did the back lawn Thursday on the lawn tractor. I made a bed. The guest room sheets were washed after the kids' last visit July 14th. I finally put the sheets back on August 9th.

Yes, thank you all for your encouragement. I am weaning myself off the Ventolin puffer. Now it is a sore throat from coughing, a nagging cough, and fatigue. I went to bed to read, and had to get up coughing. It is so random.

 Hurricane Betty, has turned into Tropical Storm Betty. She is rolling on up the continent. She is massive, now. We had 61mm of rain (2.4") and it was a mess out there.

Tropical Storm Betty remnants 61mm rain!

I often wonder what the critters do doing these storm.

As promised, here are the last of the critters from last month. A young-looking skunk.

You've really had it bad and I hope it clears up soon! Try not to do too much now that you feel some better though. Sweet hugs, Diane

You got a bunch of Debby rain, we had one day and got 3-1/2 inches. No flooding nearby at least. Poor people on NC and SC and GA coasts...and FL too. She just sat there so long dumping rain and wind. Loved seeing your critters (except the poor skinny coyote.) I'm so glad you are doing better now, though it does take time with lungs affected. They are certainly strange organs for me to understand. Must find a way to love them!

It's taking so long to recover 😢

I always love seeing critters so different from what we have here. Exciting!

Yikes -- you are all but drowning in wetness. Please take care and don't push too hard. I worry about you!

Glad you are starting to feel better! That is one skinny 'yote! Must be slim pickings for food for them up there!

That's quite a collection of critters: very nice to see. That poor coyote does look thin.

we were chatting about bears the other day. i enjoy them from afar but not close thank you very much. they are wild. i think some folks might think they are more friendly but we have to remind ourselves they are not like the movies. ( ;
