Wednesday, a lovely dawn.
🐕 I read in our local online news that people in Perth have sighted a coyote or wolf on the edge of town.
They aren't sure which it is, coyote or wolf. It is troubling to me, not that they have such a critter, but that they are still feeding birds. One dude keeping a trailcam on his bird feeder to video bears. What's with that? The minute we spot bears in May, my feeders go away. The coyotes don't come near us, or our feeders. Mostly, the coyotes eat mice and the odd turkey. They'll go after domestic animals like dogs and cats. People ought to be wary.

Your yard is such fun.
Coyotes have been seen right in the middle of the city here. They travel through the ravines I guess.
You definitely have a bountiful group of deer...yes I agree about removing feeders when predatory animals come around!
Your dawn is beautiful, Jenn.
Nice to see so many deer getting supplemental nutrition. We had a coyote in our security camera just this week, and a neighbor had a Black Bear. Surprised that the bear has come out of hibernation, though they are known to be light sleepers.
16 deer in a crowd like this is recipe for disaster. I've seen evidence of coyotes running a deer into a chain lake fence. The deer is injured and the coyotes have a feast.
Woah, so many deer! Your place is lovely.
