Cats at the vet!

It was time for their annual exams. The first task is to get them into their respective crates. We used to cram them in together, but Nutmeg was a bit of a grump. OK, rather aggressive and growled at her sweet brother! She wasn't amused. Cinnamon was more chill, in the carrier under her.

They have grown: 2024 vs. 2019 when they were kittens.

Nutmeg was reluctant to come out, but sat and glared while JB petted her.

Cinnamon patrolled, mushing me, the exam table legs, and the vet. They spent two months or so, at the vet waiting to be adopted. I guess 2 vaccinations, and a thermometer up the butt phases her, but not him!

Nutmeg went first. Cinn kept mushing things.

I set him on the table, to let him see where Nutmeg was, but he didn't stay there long.

We arrived home, and opened the trunk, opened their carriers. They carefully looked out to ensure they were home, and headed to the door.

Ours dislikes handling so much that we don't take her in. We'll let her live her good life in peace for as long as we can. She's 13 and seemingly healthy.

No injury to any humans is a good result.

And the results were... I'd gather both healthy well fed felines!

I can understand their hesitance, after all their memory might be as good as ours. We have never had a happy experience with a cat cage or vet visit, here it's a few minutes drive, before it was 30 minutes at one home on a road with lots of corners.Never mind, all done for another year, they will be happy to be home and in familiar places.

Well taken care of! I am jealous as my doc is retiring in months and have to find a new one. Not so easy in Toronto these days.

Cute photos. Glad it was all a-okay at the vet.

Glad they got their annual care, and survived the adventure! Definitely not their routine walkies. Linda in Kansas

My dog had a visit to the vet this past week -- shots and wellness check. He wasn't happy about it but he didn't turn down the treats at the end.

I'm glad they behaved well for their annual check-up. I hope they passed their exams with flying colors.
