We had 8 cm of snow overnight on Friday. The deer prepared. The antlers are buried under the snow somewhere. I think. Perhaps, the coyotes took them away for fun. You can see Double-Pickle Stabber still has his pair of antlers.
Then the snow began to fall. In the early hours the coyote, or two, traveled past in the wee hours.
In the clear light of day...hungry birds and a thirsty doe.
I wonder how these animals and birds survive the cold. I know I would have had a hard time trying to deal with snow and survive the cold. It's not a great pleasure to live in the Middle East, so I had plans, but they always fell because of climate issues.
Hello, I always enjoy seeing your pretty deer. The woodie is a favorite too. Cool capture of the coyote. Great critter post. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy Sunday and new week ahead!

That's quite a collection of deer in some of the photos. Nice to see the coyote.

Wonderful photos! Great to see so many deer.
Enjoy your Sunday!
You have lots of interesting visitors. Some of them are moochers as they take advantage of your generosity.
Those critters certainly do make your property a busy place!
winter is well underway
