Thursday, breakfast, and home

Breakfast, Thursday morning. It was going to rain. We took off for home.
The ice is that dark ice, that will give way soon. Muffin Muncher had a shower, packed, and had a nice breakfast, with well-trained staff. The view from the restaurant was pretty, with pretty skies.

Enjoyed catching up with your mini getaway to Wolfe Island, sorry you didn't see owls, but you saw a lot and had a lovely hotel room.

Must tell you though that if your friends who are in Florida are like most snowbirds they are definitely busy and happy. Since we retired, we have never been as busy as we are here -- with so many places to explore and so much to do.

Sending virtual smiles from a virtual friend. Here in Florida, but definitely not languishing.

Beautiful skies and ice to go with it.

I know my southern retired friends aren't languishing, Sallie! I had to go back and check my post! Many are reporting fantastic birding trips, trip to interesting, colourful places. My cousin regularly spend two weeks renting a house in the Caribbean, with children and grandchildren. It's rather fun for them. She is a retired travel agent, and knows all the places. After that, she and hubby are doing a tour of Europe!
