A busy day on the homefront!

We had 8 cm of snow overnight on Friday. The deer prepared. The antlers are buried under the snow somewhere. I think. Perhaps, the coyotes took them away for fun. You can see Double-Pickle Stabber still has his pair of antlers.

Then the snow began to fall. In the early hours the coyote, or two, traveled past in the wee hours.

In the clear light of day...hungry birds and a thirsty doe.

I wonder how these animals and birds survive the cold. I know I would have had a hard time trying to deal with snow and survive the cold.
It's not a great pleasure to live in the Middle East, so I had plans, but they always fell because of climate issues.

That's quite a collection of deer in some of the photos. Nice to see the coyote.

You have lots of interesting visitors. Some of them are moochers as they take advantage of your generosity.
