On our way to the wedding, we checked into hotel #2, or tried to, having met Kay at the airport, we drove through to Langley. What to do, while we waited for our 1:30 check-in... We had to wait a bit longer, since I'd asked that our room to be near the kids. We drove out to Fort Langley. It's a well organised spot, with many activities for the kids. Our kids went on the day after the wedding and had a blast! By then, we were home.
This chicken was fascinating. She looks like someone I've seen on TV. What do you think?!

Love that chicken. Wish I had one, but Lindy, being blind, might think it's lunch.
It's been quite a while since I went out to The Fort, but it still looks good and I love your shot of the river.
It is 5:45am Thursday here, and I'm going back to bed. Lindy is already asleep, after our big adventure dropping Dick off at the airport for his business trip to Mississauga.
Business first, today and tomorrow, followed by a Jays game Friday night. He took his Adam Lind shirt, his Jays jacket, and his Jays hat, so he's all equipped to be a live fan.
He said he'd phone to tell us where he's sitting, so he can wave at us. Not sure how successful that will be, but I'm sure happy he's able to get in a home game. We've only ever see the Jays play in Seattle.
Hug each other for me, and a cat or two, too.
Luv, K
This would be a great site for kids. Check out fort Edmonton sometime.
Amazing place :)
Amazing place :)
Lovely shots. It makes me want to pay the place a visit.
And yes, the chicken's adorable.
The chicken is fantastic and such a beautiful place.

Some head o' hair that chook's got!!! This place looks a bit like Old Sydney Town; a recreation of first settlement. These interactive 'museums' are fantastic; so glad you have shared it with us! YAM xx
