Stanley park was fabulous, as ever, but I managed to contract a bad case of blisters, despite wearing my trusty Birkenstocks, and managed to have hugely swollen feet to add to the fun.
You can see the city of Vancouver across the water. There is lots of flora and fauna about. A super spot to visit, so close to the city, with great transportation.
Down at the beach, a seagull had caught a catfish. The crow thought it might like it, too!
Apparently, there have been thefts from cars. When we entered, they stopped us, and told us to remove all valuables, and leave this sign on the seat! A lot of people pop in, jog, or go biking, and the bad guys prey on them. There are a few people hawking their goods or busking.

Great sign! Looks like a ton of fun. Love all the birds, especially the one with the fish.
Pretty scenes and views. I like the mountain scenery and the birds. Great post, thanks for sharing. Happy Monday!
I know the word is way over-used, but I must say....AWESOME!!!
Love the view of the mountains in the background too.
Isn't it a gorgeous place? At one time I lived on the North Shore and worked downtown, so I had to drive through the Park every day. Poor me.
Long ago and far away, but beloved still.
Thanks for the reminders, Jenn.

Breathtaking shots of the city!
I've been in BC, but never as far west as Vancouver.
Love the park, love the harbor, love the seawall, love the art, love the mountains, love the seagulls, but most of all I love those three turtles on a log.
Love, K
Wonderful place to visit ... love the sign.
Just for me you got one seaplane. There used to be a very active sea plane base there.
Really enjoyed walking around the park years ago.
Vancouver is such a fun town. We usually rush through on our way home to Powell River, but when I was taking care of Mom I would go on overnight trips once a month as part of my respite time. I really enjoyed exploring the different parts of town on my own. - Margy
I saw on the post above that you took a horse and buggy ride -- what a great way to see this amazing city. We used to love it there ... went quite often when we lived (all the time) in Oregon.
