Turkeys are circling the house!

Daisy and Dorah
We're having a major storm come through. Lots of dark clouds, and heavy rain.

The radar is impressive!

Daisy, thoughtfully, chose to remain inside, until she spotted something in the front yard. She is usually hot to trot at the front door, ready to charge outside and face her day. The runt of the litter, she is much smaller than her big sister.

Instead, she barreled outside and chased them out of her front yard!

Camera Critters #285, indeed!

A little while later, the turkeys were in the backyard, having circled the property and the house. Daisy was down in the forest, perhaps in the meadow, looking for her new buddies.

I love having turkeys visit my yard. Some folks think they must leave a mess but they really don't. The occasional lost feather is fun for the granddaughters to find and rescue. :)
Thanks for sharing your visitors!

It's not every day we get turkeys as guests- I don't blame Daisy for wanting to play with the new neighbors!

How wonderful to have Wild Turkeys in your garden! I reckon they'd disappear once Daisy said hello.

We have not seen turkeys for several years now or any of the wildlife we used to see in the fields behind our house. I think mountain bikers have scared the anilmals and birds away.
