This, Daisy, look for them. On the ground! |
After our August rain, and this cool week, the mushrooms are blossoming. All sorts of colours, reds, white, brown, yellow and orange; some sort of harbinger of colours to come.
It is difficult getting a good photo of the mushrooms, sometimes just setting the camera on the ground makes it easier.
I tried to show Daisy what we were looking for. Someone or something had kicked this wee mushroom over. It's easy to smuck them.
She prefers the trees.
She is so joyful, flinging herself upwards! This is on our island in the wetland. |
Camera-Critters #284
Like a well-trained dog, she's right there with me. |
We went out into the wetland |
There were insects in this log. I think our bear whacked it about somewhat. Daisy was impressed. |
I found an amazing selection of mushrooms, without or in spite of Daisy's help!

Hi Jenn's, a lovely array of mushrooms and Daisy is a very sweet addition.
she is really cute.
What a great variety of mushrooms you found! Mushrooms seem to range from scary looking to beautiful!
Daisy's toes are cuties! She's a beauty even if she didn't help you hunt!
(Thanks for stopping by my blog today!)
I have a cat just like this named Angel Baby will have to highlight here some week
Wonderful presentations of divine photos and, of course, the kitty is my favorite ~ carol, xo
Daisy is beautiful and the mushrooms are very pretty too.
Daisy looks like she enjoyed herself. I found some mushrooms today, too. And a Puff-ball. Deb
Wow! So many different kinds. But do you know which are edible?
I don't know, Kay, and I don't eat any. We have a great local store, as well as many local farmers, with organic foods, veggies, bison, lamb, etc., and I eat what the professional farmers grow. It's safer!!!!
Fungus, so how much is edible.
You have a surprising number of different species of mushrooms. I leave mushrooms alone although I realize there is some interesting things about them.
Nary a clue, Bill. I just photograph them!
Daisy is a darling. I like all your mushroom shots.
I love those little white paws next to the mushroom !
That is quite the variety. We had so much rain this past week that there are mushrooms popping up in my flower garden.
