WOW! Look at all those deer! When I was driving home from the OSPCA I saw a LOT of deer hanging out in farm fields and driveways. I wonder why they are bunching up NOW?
These guys will make you go broke. Funny how they can be very demanding for food. Some difference from last year when I think you had a high or two of 25 C!
karen, the deer do find winter yards and gather in the winter, keeping together for warmth and protection.
Red, each only gets a mouthful. It is worth it to watch them. The feed is a 40kg bag, for $20 from Dodds & Erwin. It's good food and makes us feel happy to help them. They are safe here.

Spring is ephemeral, never predictable, almost unknowable...but we love it anyway, don't we?
