Spring sights

These are just some spring photos. Now that it is officially the spring equinox, we can enjoy the melt.

Did the mergansers, early harbingers of spring, read the signage?! The mergansers like the cold water. They are usually the first ducks back to Ontario.

Pigeon eyes me suspiciously.
They stay all winter.

It was great to see a few mergansers here but now I'm ready for some warm sunshine too. :)

Do you really have a "Moon River"? Fabulous!
I hope you're right about Spring out there, Jenn. Those little green shoots look very young and tender.
We have melting snow, and even melting ice, but the ground is still frozen.
We just have to hurry up and wait.

You've got much more spring than we have. I saw a crow today...first one for me!
