I love rural Canada!

Our local feed and seed store had an open house and sale.
Dodds & Erwin is a very old store. Delightful people, they carry the 40kg bags of seed to the car.
I love seeing the different pieces of equipment that farmers need for their large critters. We had a grand time, with a BBQ and locally bought sausages!

We had lots of different kinds of see for the various critters! There is something satisfying about hauling about a 40 kg. bag of feed. I store them in large garbage cans.
I love the smell of it all. I love going out in the brisk weather and filling the feeders.

Somebody helped themselves!

I love that photo of the little birds with the red heads in a sea of seed!

I love the bucket under the feeder. Does it work and catch the spills?

The wildlife at your place is lucky! And that's is one great little store.

Sounds like my kind of fun. Love your cute Redpolls, I wish I could see them here. Cute shots of the deer and birds. Have a happy day!

Nothing can beat the quiet and comfort 'old home' touches of the rural part of any country. Love the bird photos.

It does catch the spills, Crafty! Otherwise Butch, the raccoon wrecks my plants!
