All of the people who built this garden.We've established at least three previous sets of owners.
Each few weeks brings more blessings from the garden. Our cold, snowy winters make a startling contrast to the blessings of spring and summer and fall.
My garden, although I have contributed precious little to it, consists of seemingly purposeful cyclical blooming patterns that ensure that each week something waves a flag of colour, encouraging me to celebrate the entire garden season.
The dragonflies dart about. So precious.The daffodils were beautiful, the tulips delightful.
The dwarf iris and bleeding hearts were next.
Now the poppy and the giant iris, some are 4' tall, provide that pop of colour.There are bachelor buttons about to bloom, and the rhododendron are sweet.
I left behind many asiatic lillies in our previous garden, glad to see them popping up here!

I'm always amazed when someone is so organized that they can set up a garden around rotating blooms. My daughter sets up her annuals according to color themes...this is a red year and so on.

Just beautiful--those gardens. This is such a lovely time of year.
Wow! Sort of like being on vacation, seeing new sights every week, only you get to sleep in your own bed every night!
Beautiful collection of shots! I do love the purple iris, but those pink flowers are amazing.
