Trip to Chesterville: Part 3 in Kemptville

Whoops, more colour!

Nothing like refurbishing an old building. Reduce, reuse, recycle!

I love these old houses, although many in small towns have been converted to apartments. There is such a variety across the southeastern part of the province. 

Most small towns have several churches, since back in the day the Catholics didn't hang out with the Protestants, and vice versa.

These cedars are massive and carefully trimmed!

I love these! Just perfect for the right people.

Kemptville, $429,900

–just east of Kemptville, 137 acres!

We'd brought our lunch, in order to have a picnic. I sent us around Kemptville, hoping for a small park, or a spot by the river. Gillian GPS was helpful. I ended up sending us around a suburban area (below, right).

 These were massive homes, who have their own backyard parks with trampolines, and other pieces of equipment. No parks here. As we drove in circles, notice the clouds moving in!

This home, as we left the area, is quite interesting. It would be a great setting for a Murder Mystery!

As we drove, I spotted this signage: but no park, and a closed gate. 

Ever onward...more signs of Autumn. The blackbirds are gathering, practicing flying and getting ready for migration. Farms are harvesting the hay.
