I've been working on determining where Fred goes when they run up the driveway. No sign of Fred, but I did get 10,000 photos of leaves blowing in the wind, and two of the robins zooming by. Can you see the robin on the bottom right?!
The next day I harvested 12,000 photos. Three of them showed either the robin or the fox hurrying down the hill to the meadow.
We had a lovely visit on the weekend, Jean-Luc was entertaining a university friend, so we had a fun time here. We'd shopped in Newboro!
I gave Caitlin her birthday gift, a book of their Portugal trip photos. You can view it online! It was their 20th anniversary trip.
Our grandie, Aster is taking a Gr. 10 online summer course. It is a requisite course, and she wanted to get it out of the way. She'll be busy with school band and extracurriculars in the fall. I sorta wrote down the name of the course when Caitlin told me, as I have a feeble auditory memory. It's no wonder grandies think we're silly old farts! I asked Aster, 'How is your course?'
Aster gifted me with a beautiful sign! She made it in Design & Tech class the last week of school. They used computers, and lasers. How cool is that?!
YAM named us Crumbly Acres! <= read the explanation there.
Aster took a video while it was being made. They are short teachers in many boards, but the student teacher assisted them. Isn't Design & Tech grand?

Much to celebrate. Birthdays and Anniversary! I hope that old fox leaves Fred and little ones alone and lets them enjoy their day in peace. Can you imagine having to secure your living from the enemy, day after day. Glad you all enjoyed the weekend.
That is indeed a lovely sign.
Fred can disappear quickly.
That is one amazing sign. No wonder you look so happy. And new heron has joined the family. Of course I chuckled with you on the course name. Don’t you just wonder sometimes what Fred thinks of the bigs - namely people!
It is good that Fred has a quick exit if necessary.
I like your new sign, very pretty.
Take care, have a wonderful week!
