Crumbly Acres in bloom

We've had some cool mornings! It's more like August.

Blue Cardinal flower! They have seeded themselves and come back every year. The hummingbirds like them. I've put my hummingbird feeders away. There are lots of blooms out there.

My first tiger lily bloom!

I have spent hours clearing out and pruning.

We've one big green frog in the goldfish pond. He's getting along with the gold fish.

There is a very green frog in the frog pond down in the forest. There were several, but I'm still working on managing my new camcorder.

One trumpet flower! They have reseeded themselves.

This popped up in my memories section! That was my blue year, 2017!

I went off for a pedicure. I thought I'd perk up my hair. It's a spray-on thing, that washes out quickly. I just needed a lift.

It was very relaxing, and she pulled out a sliver, likely a thorn, from under one toe!

Those toes are so happy now. So great to have reseeding flowers. I've never seen a blue Cardinal Flower...it kind of misses the meaning of the name!

We just had a big rain come in and our temp dropped 15 degrees. I'm actually wearing a shawl right now. Love your flowers!

...it's nice to see your hummingbird. We have them, but they are elusive.

Hi Jenn, your photos are lovely, and I hope your change in hair colour lifted you up a bit!
Thank you so much for your comment on my blog post today. Wow, you were present at Expo '67! So cool! Thanks for telling me this! In my next several posts I will share more photos of this site at St. Helen's Island, as I took quite a lot of photos when I was there on Monday, as the weather was gorgeous! 21 Celsius or in the upper 60's to low 70's Fahrenheit, perfect weather! Today it has reached 40 Celsius, 104 Fahrenheit. On days like this I stay inside, just too hot and humid for me.
I hope you have an upcoming wonder filled weekend!
