It is that time again. Nesting & mating season!
I was so surprised to see this. Check out the Phoebe landing right beside the doe. This is the last of this year's frogging. You can hear both wood frogs and spring peepers in the video. I could see the Canada Goose preening.
I'm having a devil of a time with 3 of my trailcams. This is the camera that takes 4100 images before it poops out. Of course, the battery goes dead. I still can't get it right. I set it to images just at night, and processed them into a video. Can you see it?

Hello Jenn,
I do love seeing your deer, they are great visitors.
I like the cute salamander. Great photos and post.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your critter post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Nice critters today! Someday maybe I'll see a phoebe. I just like the name!
Your macro lens picture reminded me of high school when we went to the pond across the street, got some water and looked at it under a microscope. Amazing what is living in a single drop of water!
The deer do seem to like looking toward you when you're filming them! Glad they don't bolt.
You will soon have fawns running around the place.
So lovely to see.
We have one deer that looks pregnant too, she still has two yearling fawns with her, they come in the yard all the time.
Wow, so many critters. I would love seeing all the different animals. I know some people would be packing up and leaving. My neighbor calls me or my daughter over when she finds a tiny lizard in her apartment because she can't catch them. They freak her out. I've caught two of them and let them loose outside so far and it's not even really Summer yet. lol
I wonder whether deer get as tired of being pregnant as people do?
Since you've had such a severe winter maybe the fetus were delayed.
I love the salamander shot - even though it took me a couple of tries to spot it. You need my grandkid; a salamander magnet. Yes, doe looks pregnant. We have had them drop a kid as late as early June in our bush. I must admit, when I was pregnant, you certainly could spot it. Deer are lucky, eh.
Hello Jenn :)
It was nice to see a Salamander, I think it's a new creature.on your patch. Lovely deer image.
