The trailcam watching the dock has been fun. So far, a hawk, and some people and a cat doing Walkies.
Caitlin and Jean-Luc were doing a pond visit on the weekend! The birds are slowly migrating back here to Ontario. I've seen so many birds returning: Phoebe is quite noticeable. Lots are calling for mating season.
I saw 6 hens and a Tom turkey in full mating mode. They strut and are so funny. This is an archive from 13 years ago! I was downstairs and spotted them.
Looking out of the bathroom window, I spotted two hermit thrush. This is an archive photo, since by the time I would have fetched the camera, they were gone.

The crocus are pretty! Great sighting of the Hermit Thrush.
Take care, have a great day!
Great capture of turkey struts. Love seeing crocuses! Don't think I've ever seen a wood thrush.
I find that spring doesn’t stir an old man’s fancy like it does of a young man. I cannot explain this phenomenon.
Lots of activity at your place.
I love your trail cams. They are such fun to see who has visited!
I can understand why Saffron is so expensive, those Crocus are beautiful. And visitors all over the garden and near the pond.

Oh, the croci are gorgeous... spring...ahhhhhhhhhhhh.... YAMxx
The trailcam captures always bring a unique perspective to the daily happenings. I bet Caitlin and Jean-Luc’s pond visit was a peaceful one, and spring flowers are always a beautiful sign of renewal. It's moments like these that remind us to slow down and appreciate the small wonders around us.
An exciting and beautiful time of year.
Splendid spotting on the thrush. We had a male, seemingly solo, displaying last evening. I guess the girls were not interested. It gave me the giggles, he looked so annoyed. Personification, I know, but there it is.
looks like Spring has finally arrived in your area. I'm nor familiar with the hermit thrush, so I looked it up. A songbird!! so sweet.
