I am anxious to have this election done. The hate and loathing has been transferred from PM Trudeau to an upstanding business man and respected international economist, PM Carney. Trudeau stepped down, Carney stepped up. Then called a Canadian election for April 28th.
The far-right is digging up dirt. No, that is wrong. They are creating conspiracy theories, using old photos, where none exist.
Whereas, some people are more or less impressed!
It has been very wet. Lots of puddles.
The golf club is getting ready. We drove by while they were putting up the signage banners:
The snowmachine trail is now closed.
Hooray for leftovers. We both ate half and took it home for the next night.

🍷After a big day frogging (Western Chorus Frog Hunting), we had our regular Thursday date night, dinner out. On Tuesday. What the heck! It's a short week with a holiday Friday and Monday.
Off we went. These clouds impressed me.

It was Boston Pizza. The franchise is owned by Jim Treliving, who is a former RCMP Member and Canadian.
Who knew there was a half price special on Tuesdays. Well, all of these families, I guess!
Melted snow, almost.

There are some of us here in the UK who look to Mark Carney with a degree of wistfulness... he could have stayed here and lifted Britain out of a guddle... I sure hope he manages it for Canada. YAM xx
Digging dirt and conspiracy theories is normal now, I hope everyone sticks to the facts. Your meal looks yummy.
Take care, have a great day!
I wouldn’t mind a BP here in CP.
Quite worried that politics a la Canada will not come out with the right leadership to deal with the US political crud.
Ben Mulroney should have fact checked. The photo is a fake. Yes, the hateful election stuff is with us. It is not new, but the intensity of it is frightening. I hope it is just a reflection of what is coming up from the states. Your photos look like what I see out my window daily, but we still do have some clumps of snow, mostly where it was piled up by clearing the laneway or the roof.
The Western Chorus is a new thing for me; I normally just identify the peepers. Lovely, thank you, and I will follow up on it.
Mosquitoes. NO, not yet, please.
HA! We have the frogs at Watson's Corners. I am going to cruise around tonight to see (snicker) what I can hear. Thank you again for the info. Love it.
I would hate to be in politics.
I like the mailbox flag. Those clouds are awesome.
We are in election mode too. I am anxious. On the one hand we have a decent but far too timid man and on the other we have Trump lite (or lite for the moment anyway).
I love your mail box flag and left overs are wonderful.
I'm a Carney fan too! Can you clone him and send him here?
About the only thing PP can do is dig up dirt.
Wishing you and your family a very nice Easter Weekend Jenn.. Blessings to you all.
I don't watch much news, it is what it is:) Nice mail box flag!
Give me a flowery fabric anyday! Love it.
I'm with you re Carney -- a guy who knows what he's doing and isn't a hateful p___k who does nothing but lie and attack everything that is decent in a just and modern society. I will never understand people who support his party platform. Are they just like him? Do they want to be? Or do they just believe the b.s.? 'Tis a mystery to me. I can't help thinking people are just that dumb -- something I've never really believed about anyone, but now I'm forced to. And it CAN'T be that, can it? I know they can be uneducated. I know they can be getting incorrect information. I know they don't know how to factcheck. But still ... it's sad to see people voting against their own interests and against the interests of those who actually need government aid. But I don't need to say all this; it's all been said before, and not just by me. I'll be heading into town this weekend to the advance poll and making my mark on the ballot, but here in Saskatchewan it won't make a damn bit of difference. Conservatives will win the day; they almost always do, here. Don't get me started!
