Forest bathing

Thanks for reading yesterday's rant. When an issue hits close to home, it personalizes it for us.
I will go back to my photos...

Finally Joe got his birthday meatloaf. Half is in the freezer, too.

I found two more deer scrapes. Seriously!

Standing in the forest, looking into the still green wetland is so peaceful.

If you look closely, you can see the wood shed.

This is the house up the hill.

I looked down at my feet! One does have to watch their step. It looks like legs bones from the deer up by the house. Still, I haven't seen a coyote in the day time for a long time.

I know they are out there in the night. Lots of our wild animals know this. I can tell by out trailcams!

I spent Wednesday morning, while Joe was shopping, to put up lights. It's so dark so early. It made me happy.

We are rewatching Season 1 of Sherwood in preparation for Season 2! You know how that goes. They release a new season and it would help to have the continuity of the previous season.
The cats were thrilled with our latest TV adventure.

I leave you with Joe's work of art! I posted it on our family photostream. Our SIL, JL, offered a mere $1,000,00099!

Wasn't that new piece regarding that banana one of the stupidest things you have ever heard? People are so weird.

There are times when it is healthy to have a good rant and blogging is a good place to do that, and your blogging friends understand this. We are all a family of sorts in blogland. I have met wonderful people on here, you included my friend, so rant away when you need to, we’re here for you. Now, Joe’s meatloaf looks wonderful and all your photos are always so very interesting, including your videos. Those lights are pretty and all the things you have shared for the changing season. I will have to look for Sherwood. Yes your cats do look thrilled, lol! I am also smiling at Joe’s artwork and chuckling at the $1,000,00099 price offered. Perhaps I can get a similar offer for mine. This offer inspires me 👍😎🌻

We have also rewatched Sherwood. Season 2 is being released weekly, so we are waiting for the whole thing as we tend to forget much in a week. Apparently, it is also based on past issues, but I forget what.

Way better than the one with the duct tape, IMO... well done JB! Love the forest you have... and clearly so does the wild life. A sanctuary in every sense. YAM xx

OOoo! Bacon on top of meatloaf...new to me. Here meatloaf always has a ketchup mixture on top. (She says eating toast and bacon and trying to keep her fingers clean so she can type!) I bet it tastes great! Banana art is The Thing, eh? Where's the duct tape? Oh, that was someone else...yes, I'll outbid you!

Happy Birthday to Joe, I hope he enjoys his meatloaf. Our son won't eat it, so we don't have it. Somehow we get by.

We tried taping a clementine to the wall with painter's tape and it sold immediately. ;-)

Sometimes the bones can be carried quite some distance or scattered.

Sometimes you have to rant, and I've been ranting about that topic regularly so it's nice to know the like-minded! Love the cats and Joe's work of art. I need to get some lights up fast. It's getting depressing around here!
