The ongoing saga of our Toronto/Muskoka trip!
There is a fire ban all across Central and Southern Ontario. We spotted many signs as we traveled. Lots of lovely lakes, hills, and forests. We bought lunch in Bancroft, and took it with us until we found a spot to eat. Miller's Lake, although the signage said Sand Lake Park, is the spot. No chairs, JB ate standing up, I sat on the nice, flat rocks.
This is the famous Swiss Inn. We stopped here once. It's for sale!
The perfect spot for lunch. The signage says Sand Lake, but Google calls it Miller's Lake! Very, very shallow, it was a nice wade on our trip home from Gravenhurst, 283 km, of 340 km to home.

Beautiful series of very nice photos glad you had great time dear liked the foot on beach in water
The lake looks ideal. One wonders why Google maps would be so insistent on the name.
My old haunts.. Bancroft.

A lake by any name is still as wet! It looks delightful... what a great trip you made for yourselves! YAM xx
Sometimes maps and signs can be unreliable.
Our fire ban started last week. It's really late this year because of all the early rain. Today is cloudy with a few sprinkles, but nothing I would really call rain. - Margy
We were near Bancroft this past weekend. After the rain, fires were permitted at night. You travelled a long way to eat that lunch. There is a decent park right in Bancroft where we stopped once.
Apreciei muito a vegetação, árvores belas. Mais um dia agradável.
