♩♪♫♩S'No body knows the shovellin' I've seen!
It is hard work, good healthy work, but I'm happy to be indoors. I could feel Spring approaching, and decided to hasten it along. I bought some paperwhite bulbs, tucked them into my late mom's crystal bowl with some marbles for support, and have been watching them grow. You can spot my helpers, who have to check everything out.
All of the photos were taken a day apart, Feb. 8, 9, 10, then Feb. 17, 22, 26. They bloomed on Feb. 28th.
This one (above) is fuzzy. I was outside working, brought in the camera and found humidity on the lens. I rather liked the look! Once they bloomed, I had to tie them up. Can you spot Dorah?
I had fun with light and settings.

Amazing how fast these develop and bloom. It must be because of your high priced help.
So lovely to see plants grow day by day and feel spring scent indoors. How powerful they are!

Nice way to beat the snow!!!
Wow - they have grown so quickly. And wow - so beautifully too.
What a great sequence series!
Still shoveling here, as well, in northern Minnesota.. About 10 fresh inches of snow fell yesterday.

Brilliant series of photos. here in Nz we are just thinking of planting spring bulbs as you will be starting to enjoy yours.
