Signs of Muskoka

This Way Thurs-Way
I'm done with sign of Fall. Time to move on! It is not so sad, I have accepted change and have learned to embrace it for all the lessons it teaches us.

The signs are all around us. Can you read them?

These are photos of the signs in my photofolio. I must admit a fascination with signs: objects, images, symbols; logographic, and graphic. Reading signs is a great pre-reading skills to teach kids. Our brains are hard-wired to perceive images more than reading.

I like drive-by-shootings, especially signs. I have been collecting signs from around the place. No rhyme nor reason. Just for fun. I once thought I'd create a learning activity from them, but then I burned out and quit teaching!

Music: Mocking Shadows, "Blow the Rest Away".

Visit This Way Thursday for more signs! There are more blog memes out there than I can keep up with. I did collect a list of links, though.

Jenn: Loved the photos of all the sinage. You had to plan ahead for that post. I never took that many sign photos.

I too take a lot of sign pics.
When I was a kid and my family traveled from Chicgo to Sacramento for grandparent vacation I read signs and license plates all the way. Of course that could be because we never stopped to see anything on the way. ;-)
Love your signs Jenn!
Sorry I couldn't watch the video, but am sure it's great.

It is a disease, fishing guy! Actually, it keeps me busy and out of trouble taking photos. That's what hubby says!

You see, even Gaelyn, my kindred spirit, agrees! I find some amusing, and really planned a learning activity for my class at one time. That fell through!
