Boats in their coats

Most boats have been put away for the season. Their plastic shrink wrap protects them from winter winds and snow. Cranes have popped them into their shelves, tractors dragged them into winter parking spots,  and the waterskiis and PWCs have been put away for another day.

The boats are wearing their coats.
The cars have on their snow tires!

If you look closely in the video (below), you can spot the 2 slides from the 70's.

1) My brother, in Dad's sailboat, and

2) all of us putting our one and only (2nd hand) motor boat into the water (sans motor!)

I had so much fun in that wooden boat when I was a young teen. With a 10 HP motor, I'd zip around the lake.

/Those were the days, my friend,/
We thought they'd never end../

The season is nearly over. Prepare for the snow!

Music in the video: Toni Child's The Woman's Boat.

Most boats have been put away here too. Row boats and canoes are still on the loose in some places though.
