October signs and colours

Froggies are still in the goldfish pond. I counted 11 a few days ago.

Our rural drives have been very reflective of the season. The geese have grown and flown.

I can tell that the season is unfolding as it should. They were suiting up by the side of the road. Something is in season for hunters. I would imagine it is geese. There were hundreds in this field. Mine is a drive-by shooting, through the driver's side windows. The field was full.

The trees seem to be at their peak.

Hunting camp and tree stands

This is where they sit to hunt on the neighbouring property.
I took a walk as I wanted to see how close they are to us.
A wetland bog separates us, but it is not wide.
The gun fire is very close.

Property surveyed no, no excuse
