Kingston Trip – Part 3 Dinner: Amherstview

Kingston –Part 1, here we come!
Kingston Trip – Part 2: Gord Downie Memorial & Chanie Wenjack

Friday, after a drink on the pier, we toodled off to our motel. After a rest, we took off for dinner. Tricky, as it was Friday, and there were a lot of people in town for various Kingston events. We ended up at The Grizzly Grill! It was a hoot! There were 4 or 5 big grizzly bear carvings! It was busy!

Our motel was pretty average, cheap and cheerful! Off we went, after a brief breakfast. We passed the Kingston Women's Penitentiary. Hubby volunteered here around 1973, in theory: preparation for a social work degree. Instead, he ended up in business.

I was surprise by the turtle crossing sign, as Kingston creeps out into rural areas. I love the leather side pockets on the bike!

We were headed to Millhaven, for the ferry dock, but we were early and stopped at the Fairfield House park, and saw the plaque. Lots of people donated benches.
