Action at the bird feeder

<If I sneak out of this tunnel,
maybe she won't see me.>
"I've told you, Bertie, you're eating all my share."

"Bertie, I told you...are you listening to me?"

<Busted.> "Gertie. I haven't eaten in days."

"Gimme a break, there's enough for both of us."

"I guess "

"Petty cold, isn't it?"
"Yes, I guess you better eat up to stay warm."

"Go, Woody, knock some more down for us!"

"I love watching these two, don't you?"

"I do! They are good for a laugh!"

"Do you think I'll ever get my turn?"

"Tell me about it!"

LOL Oh this was a delight Jenn!... today as I left father's place to come home, I got a big surprise (given it is a city street and it was still rush hour) when a grey squirrel decided to cross the read in front of me!!! I was barely into first gear, so I guess he knew I wasn't gonna flatten him &*> YAM xx

Your red squirrels seem chummy. Mine would never feed so close together. A bag of sunflower seeds makes an almost instant wildlife party in this weather.

The only worry I have about red squirrels is to keep them out of my feeder. They do well without my handouts.

Loved all the photos! We don't get many red squirrels here but we were overrun with them in Nova Scotia.
Take care!

Nothing goes to waste in the winter. I put up a suet feeder since my seed feeder was getting clogged with sprouting seeds in the rain. No takers yet. - Margy
