Regarding your comment at my blog, the ice sculptures are mostly sheltered under these awning structures, except open on one side for viewing, in Confederation Park downtown. It keeps them protected from sunlight and wind, which can degrade the quality of the ice.
I haven't seen any juncos since Nov. but we had lots then. Look after your little guy with the broken ankle.
