What am I to think?
That my blog posts dating from 2007 are worth $500 ?
That my blog posts dating from 2007 are worth $500 ?
I've put blood, seat, tears, gas, energy, time, and love into my blog. What are they thinking?
I've create gifs, taken $50,000 photos, and put a lot of joy into my blog. It's not about selling anything, or marketing myself.
What price do you think I should ask? :-)

Hi, I am interested in purchasing your blog .
I represent a firm that purchases entire blogs, that is, the URL as well as the content of the blog. We use these blogs to improve the search engine rankings of our clients.
Our firm requires that the blog has correct English and grammar. It must have original content (not duplicate content from other blogs or websites) as well as having no pornography or other distasteful content. In addition, the blog must be able to be found on Google.
If you are interested in selling your blog(s), please reply with your URL(s) as well as your asking price(s). An actual offer for your blog would happen after a detailed analysis of it that showed that it met all of our criteria.
Below is the typical pricing (in US dollars) based on the PageRank of your blog:
PageRank 1 - from $200. to $300.
PageRank 2 - from $250. to $400.
PageRank 3 - from $340. to $575.
PageRank 4 - from $475. to $700.
PageRank 5 - from $625. to $1,000.

Oh wow, I'm a page rank 3 and have almost a thousand posts so they would pay me about 20 to 30 cents per post.
Dang, seems pretty cheap to me.
If I were you, I would hold out for a billion dollars. That's my price. Of course I would negotiate.
I had the exact same email. I just trashed it. If they want it that bad, how about a million dollars????
Wow! I'm not sure what to think!
Yes Jenn all that work, of just getting out there to do the photography and all your creative writing...never mind putting in over 100 blogs....Heck!!! that's worth more than a measley $500.00...do they think we are money hungry fools!!!!!!
I'm with Crafty. Tell this guy to take a hike. He's incredibly cheap!
There! I said it. He won't be back either.
Oh boy! How cheap can they get? Just consider the number of hours you have put into an excellent project. The amount of research involved, the creative part too. I don't think they would ever pay anywhere near what it is worth. Pick only one of your best photographs - and it's probably worth a lot more than that.
ATB!
Oh I don't know you can always write and take photos for pleasure so as long as they don't insist on a 'no competition' clause you can simply start a new blog and keep doing what you do best.
But honestly unless you need the cash, it would be hard to part with all of the content on almost ANY blog as long as you've been going. Probably best to keep your site and own page rank growing. You can always sell the thing later! W.C.C.
