Secure your property

Wise cottage owners ask full-time residents to keep an eye on their cottage, snowmachines and garages during the hard winter, and after the cottage is closed. Thefts are common enough in cottage country. Many snowmobliers have a grand time, respecting the land, each other and trail rules. With extensive snowmobile trails across Central and Northern Ontario, many have access across frozen lakes, into remote cottages and lakes.

Very interesting blog, the thefts are quite a shame, and so too the snowmobile deaths. Personally I stick to x-c, snowshoes and ice skates.
