The feeders are out. I've been bringing them in at night, and hustling out the door to hang them when it is light out.
We were watching the Blue Jays on TV. In the air, above the stadium, this helicopter was there for hours.

The nuthatches and chickadees are all over my feeders this week too! I only seem to see nuthatches in late fall.

The birds here are starting to look for tidbits, too...the temperature is plummeting! YAM xx
What a lovely selection of birds you have visiting your feeders. We've seen lots of Dark-eyed Juncos and Golden Crowned Sparrows lately.

Can no one stop this killing without any proof?
Our Jays are into the corn. JG thinks if they are fed, the team will score. Magical thinking, but at the 18th inning, practically any thinking is amazing.
I love the birds. I see pigeons and black birds around here, sometimes a sparrow.
They stop at no expense to show the ball games.
