We were headed to Brockville, perhaps the real last summer-like day around here. The high was to be 28 ℃, which is lovely.
I noticed how dry it was. The pond is usually full. The farmers trying to harvest crops...
And still there are pretty leaves.

This was worrisome! I warned Joe, and he pulled over. The truck got in just in time, the car behind us passed us and roared away.
It was uneventful, except for this moment ↕! Joe had to pull off the road.
This deck is amazing. I love driving by. We sure don't know enough people to fill it!
More to come. We had another frost last night. I'm going to have to shut down the water fountain and fix up the bird bath. Our family is arriving from Vancouver tonight for Thanksgiving. We'll see what happens.
