They like frog watching! This is a game they all play.
You know fall approaches when the leopard frogs move in! There are hundreds of them in the lawn, hopping out of the way as I walk along.
I used some rubbing alcohol to clean the tape that was peeling off my fixes to the pond liner. More Flex Tape helped plug the holes.
Last sighting, I think.
I have to plan ahead for bringing in the fishies, too. I've 8, still.
The pond is full with our recent rains. I am watching the overnight low temperatures. Plus, do I want to be outside fiddling around in the water in the cold?! Nope.

It froze here last night. I'm amazed Fbo isn't weeping; he'll surely have lost garden produce.
Great to see the cats are frog watchers. I had an aquarium for years, supposedly to entertain cats...but also I found watching fish to be rather calming.
We released two Monarchs last week; still one to go.

Beautiful! I love it. My husband and I got on a walk every night and we walk down by the lake. It is officially second "frogging" season. They were really loud about 6 weeks ago, and they're back to it now. LOL! Nature is amazing, eh?
I so enjoy listening to the frogs croak and the crickets singing. I don't like to be out around ponds at night, but I love to hear the sounds from areas like this.
