I am remiss. I meant to celebrate our move from Muskoka to rural Perth, Sept. 15th, 2010. We woke to sirens and a drunk driver flipping his car at 7 a.m. It was quite something. Plus, the movers left 5 big boxes in our cupboard in Bala, and we ended up renting a van and driving back there.
It's been a great spot for us. I changed up the header to celebrate.
We were headed to Almonte, driving through Perth. The leaves in Perth are amazing.

Since Perth is now the nearest town of any size to my daughter’s new home, I am sure I will be getting to know it a little better in the weeks and months ahead.

I wouldn't expect any fall color around here yet, but it sounds like (due to a lack of rain) there won't be much.

I do really miss the changing of seasons living here in Hawaii where it's the same all year long pretty much.
We haven't been to Canada in such a long time. We always loved going there for the beauty and friendliness of the people.
