Froggies and fishies

Cinnamon was supervising the bull frogs. One keeps on croaking at the oddest of moments. It is funny. I was reading on the front deck and heard his jug-o-rum deep call. He wouldn't perform while I watched...

They like frog watching! This is a game they all play.

There is one little green frog. I've seen bullfrogs eat the little ones. D'accord, we'll see what happens.

Can you see the two of them? One on the edge, the other in the water.

You know fall approaches when the leopard frogs move in! There are hundreds of them in the lawn, hopping out of the way as I walk along.

I used some rubbing alcohol to clean the tape that was peeling off my fixes to the pond liner. More Flex Tape helped plug the holes.

Last sighting, I think.

The skies have been lovely.

I have to plan ahead for bringing in the fishies, too. I've 8, still.

The pond is full with our recent rains. I am watching the overnight low temperatures. Plus, do I want to be outside fiddling around in the water in the cold?! Nope.
