Hubby regrew a beard. He looked a lot like my late dad. Then, he went to the barber and had a goatee sculpted.
The birds have been hungry with cool nights. I still have one maple with leaves. For now!
Daisy was tired after gallivanting in the wee hours. She missed the turkeys out the front.

Both the beard and the goatee suit him.
You are so lucky to have turkeys. I never see flocks of them in my yard. Possibly hunters keep their numbers down in my very agricultural area. I do see the occasional nesting hen closer to our wood lot.
The maple tree is stunning, beautiful colours. Turkey on the lawn? You have so much wild-life wandering through, a great variety, and so many of them are what people actually eat at some stage. Glad they stay safe at your place.
Daisy looked knackered out!

Yup, beard's good... and are the turkeys taking refuge? (from thanksgiving, not the Trump....... then again...) YAM xx
I like both versions of the beard actually! Lots of wild turkeys!
I'm not sorry to see it go. October here was more like November with lots of rain and wind, but minus the cold. I wonder what this month will bring. - Margy
Men usually have a love-hate affair with beards. The beard usually suits them , especially those with baby faces like the one of the famous movie actor Leonardo di Caprio. It makes him look more mature and helps him get serious roles.
