Curtain climbers, bad knees, exercise

These kittens give Sadie such grief!
It has been a tough week. I sang at Kaye's funeral, had dental work done (it still hurts today, Sunday), hubby's back went out, and then, it seems as if the cartilage in my knee has been complaining. I do not complain. I simply illustrate that Freedom 55 isn't all it is cracked up to be!
Turning 56 this month, I have learned that my golden years are ones to be trod carefully.

Hubby put his back out trying to move my Dad from wheelchair to bed in 2006. He begged hubby, who had no training, to get him into his bed. Someone with dementia doesn't understand about time and procedures. PSWs are busy. They don't have the time residents would wish to come when the button is pushed for help.
Kitty cleans off
the fridge for me!

I used to jog. Lately I cannot. I wonder if jogging in my teens/ adult years contributed to my knee/leg issues? Who knows. I earned myself tendonitis biking. I thought it a lovely way to exercise and pushed myself too hard.

I go down to the basement to work out now faithfully, as does hubby.
The kittens feel it their duty to give moral support. Bless their little souls.
Daisy and Dorah have been incredibly supportive.

Anyone who reads my blog might be tired of the kittens, for that I apologize!
But the room divider has been something the kittens approve of! Silly curtain climbers!

Adorable captures of your kittens!

That room divider must be absolutely irresistible to those kittens, Jenn. All the pretty fabric will be in ribbons before long, by the looks of it.
Sorry you're both feeling "porely" at the same time. Not much fun at all, but at least you have cats and kittens for comic relief.
Hope you're both better soon.
Luv, K

There are times when things seem pretty creaky. I hope that the knee shapes up. 56 ain't bad from my perspective! I'd take 56 any day especially when you're 73!
Now dental work? That can make me cranky.

I don't know what it is about knees. A lot of the ladies in my zumba class say they have severe knee problems. I have to watch out that I don't overdo it too. I guess I'm at that time of life when I must be careful. You're much younger than I am. Please take care.

Your kittens are adorable.
