No Christmas tree indoors for us!

Nope. Not with the curtain climbers.
It was a warm day, nearly 20 C. here. I thought it was a bizarre thing to be hanging tree lights outdoors, wearing only a sweatshirt, in December!

We'll have to watch candles, too. These little girls are into, onto, grabbing everything!
It is joyful watching them explore the world. I do miss teaching, when we would share our various December celebrations from different cultures and religions.

The twins thought me silly decorating the prickly tree. They thought the lights should go on the other tree, the perfectly climbable Catulpa!

The tree finished, they roared around, fascinated that they could now walk on water!
The goldfish pond was still frozen, despite our brief, warm temperatures.

Hubby brought home a fine buck, on sale as it needed a bit of a prop to help it stand up!

Oh, yes, wouldn't they just love climbing an indoor tree! They're so cute.
Your outdoor tree is lovely, Jenn, and I like the buck!

Those kittens are so active! I can sure see the need for the tree to stay outside.

20 C ? That's nuts! We have a normal winter but I know our turn is coming for abnormally high winter temps.

Love your outdoor tree -- that would have been a circus to have it indoors this year, that's for sure.

I love that tree! I would do that if I had a tree...wait, I do! It was last years indoor tree that I don't want to drag in with bugs. I will light it up today!
Look at those wild little kittens! Hangers and climbers. Fun to watch!!

I love it when people plant their Christmas trees outside and let them live naturally in their environment.
