First snow of the season!

Yes, a news bulletin: it is snowing!
Our first snow of the season: 2:30 p.m., Oct. 11th, 2009.

The last snow we had was on May 31st, 2009! These two photos are from Oct. 21st, 2008 - last year. I was having so much fun videotaping this news bulletin, I didn't fetch the camera.

It is not staying on the ground, and now the sun is out, with scattered showers. Oliver is no where to be seen, but Sady is happy to stay in and watch football with hubby.

With lots of people visiting I feel badly for them in a way. We saw a boat cross to the other side of the lake, inaccessible except by boat. They are the ones who lost their raft to the wind. They are now scooting back and forth across a lake sparkling in the sun.

The sun breaks out from behind the clouds,
blue sky reigns
then all is dark
and it showers again

The snow showers
they come and go,
talking of Michelangelo!

I guess winter has arrived at your place. Love the sound of joy in your voice. Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm hoping that we have at least a month before our first snow.

our pictures are beautiful! The first snow is the best. I can't believe this crazy weather... I live in Orlando and it is in the 90s here. I would love a little snow right now!
