Saturday's Critters

It's been awfully cold. I haven't ventured too far into the forest. The walking in knee-deep snow is horrid. 


The red squirrels are having no trouble at all.



The red squirrels have dug tunnels all around the bird feeders. Cinnamon does 'bear' trying to see over the snow banks.  

 


The deer don't really worry about the tunnels! doe a deer 

  


I've moved the trailcam to sit beside the house. The walking is treacherous, and knee-deep without snowshoes. I'm still figuring out the camera, and it still shows F. not C., but I'm working on it.

The buck Henry is looking pretty regal! I'll bet he drops his antlers shortly.

 


I'm still getting a handle on the new trailcam. This video, at dawn, was quite blue! deer and snow:
