This is quite the autobiography!
It's co-written by a former FBI undercover agent, Scott Payne, along with a Toronto journalist, which caught my attention. Payne has been appearing on several Canadian shows, talking about his book. What a journey. He documents a Canadian who was part of this miserable scene and arrests.

Hate complaints are rising, with the permission of racist, ignorant white trash who feel threatened by people of colour.
There are many in law enforcement who work hard to dig these people out of their loathsome basements and bunkers, and prevent them from harming anyone. I am shocked by the people stockpiling food and weapons for the time when the government collapses. Some of them are hoping for this, as they want martial law. They create bunkers, and safe places to hide out.
If you are living in this insanity, you might not want to read about it. On the other hand, it is good to know that the FBI is working on this issue, as are Canadian law enforcement agencies. I was interested, as the RCMP recently arrested four people who fit this pattern.
Just in case we might feel smug in Canada, this is a news release by the RCMP.

- Canadian Proud Boys and the notorious Atomwaffen Division, which has been linked to five killings in recent years.
- In a 2023 terrorism investigation, the RCMP arrested two Ontario men for their roles in creating recruiting videos for Atomwaffen.
- In 1993, three Canadians affiliated with the Hammerskins were found guilty of murdering a Black man in Texas.
- There are 187 active clubs in 27 countries, according to the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism.
There are many hate and neo-Nazi groups: Nationalist–13 or NS13, Second Sons (came from Diagolon), Active Club Canada, Hammerskins came out of Atomwaffen.

So sad to hear about all this hate. There's a difference in my mind between "preppers" who have been collecting supplies for the possible (?) end times when civilization collapses...and the hate mongers. Of course they blend together many times. After our scare almost a year ago, I've certainly got a stock of food, some of which doesn't have to be cooked. It's a natural reaction to the trauma of losing all infrastructure of internet, cell service, electricity and water for several weeks. But the hate groups are really scary from the perspective that they are also out of control.
That sounds like an interesting book.
A very interesting book Jenn. Unfortunately, this has not been a new thing and has been prevalent in a lot of countries, we just seem to be seeing more of it because we get instantaneous news through the internet. The political climate certainly doesn't help. One outrageous distraction after another also seems to be the name of the game, to keep supporters and others minds off other things that we really should be dealing with first if our hands weren't tied. Just my humble opinion and am no expert.

I think I read about this and it is all too frightening. I think the FBI under the current leadership is distracted by all the other BS they are being directed to do.
This is the kind of book that normally I would read. But right now, it hits too close to our American story. It's just frightening here.
