The fires continue out west. Vast hectares of burning trees and homes and infrastructure. We're getting smoke from it this far east. I feel so badly for all impacted, evacuated by helicopters, planes, from remote areas. This is what we had in 2023.
People are working so hard: 90,000 of Canada's 120,000 firefighters are volunteers. Apparently, those on the ground say there are still ground fires from the May 2023 fires.
Wab Kinew responding to ignorant media questions, this is the way to do it. Check sources, don't repeat rumours. Be responsible.

With 4 grandies, one gay, one trans, it is important to be an ally. Jo, April, 2017!

Perth has its banner up!
Tim Hortons, Home Depot, Google are withdrawing funding from the Toronto Pride Celebrations. This is awful, that the orange felon can dictate anti-DEI policies on Canadian soil. Lest you think that tariffs are our only issue...
Here I am roaring by on the tractor!

Happy Pride month.
Happy Pride MOnth to you and your loved ones. I just watched Bletchley Circle in San Francisco on Brit Box on Prime...a free week! It included a story with some gay rights coverage as well as murder mysteries...very good.
How are the ticks this year?
Cool umbrella with the cute grandie. Hope the bobcat stays away! Linda in Kansas
We're getting a bit of the smoke here from the fires, which always amazes me. I hope they can get everything under control.
Hello,
I support equality for all. More love and less hate! The wildfires are scary, I hope they are out soon, rain is needed to help. Pretty flower and cute phoebe babies. Take care, have a great day!

Well said that man! And all hail the rainbow! YAM xx
I hope the smoke isn't too bad, I hate fires it's all so terrifying. Smart to cover the candytuft with snow, small victories!
Thank you for supporting Pride Month. So necessary and yes, it is another area where the orange felon is wreaking havoc.
I knew what your topic would be today. You certainly support your grand daughters.
Jenn - happy Pride Month. So sad to see companies withdrawing support - I wonder if it is the pressure from boards, or if they were always looking for an excuse (in other words, they weren't really supportive). The most interesting thing on my trail cam lately is a coyote!
I firmly believe that it is important to support people's choices in who and what they are. Pride in this community is a good emphasis; I wish we had something similar for people of colour and for our First Nation people.
Love your flower photos. It is heart lifting to have spring and colour once more.
