Forest snow walkies

It was quite the snowfall. Everything looks so pretty. All shoveled out, I was free to play.

I went down to the island in the wetland. Well-traveled tracks, as Bambi visits from the neighbour'sproperty.

Annabelle
The 'island' in the middle of our wetland is such a pretty place. Usually, Daisy loves it, but she doesn't have her snowshoes yet. Apparently, cat toe pad are like human fingerpads. They'll toughen up with the cold, but meantime, Daisy, Dorah and Annie have been antsy in the house. They've been roaring around, happy to be indoors.

Annabelle prefers hanging out on the deck, or in our laps. As a rescue cat, she knows what's what!
Dorah prefers a lap, too.

Off I went on my own! This is the island. You can see the wetland sunshine in the background. It's a lovely place.

We are down to -7'C at the moment... no snow; just frost. Wouldn't mind so much if we had pretty stuff like this to look at. Have to admit is magical! YAM xx

It is lovely to walk in the snow. I do enjoy snow days more now I'm retired, can enjoy them at my own pace.

The cats look quite comfortable in the laps!

Landscape covered with white snow is a beautiful view. I like contemplating pictures and paintings showing places clad in white, perhaps because we don't have this for real in my neck of the woods.

I wonder if we'll get any snow this year. Right now it's just mild and rainy. November is typically a snowy month for us, at least in the past. - Margy

Both indoors and outdoors look appealing for different reasons.

Interesting in this post and the later one to learn about cats "snow paws". Those kitties have a happy home!
