Daisy and her deer friends

Daisy was out hunting. The deer are curious, wondering what she is up to and how on earth she can climb that tree!
I love how they stare at her intently. She just ignores them.

They just do not understand who or what she is! Daisy pretty much ignores them, despite being a fraction of their size! She's after the dratted red squirrel, who is off in the forest somewhere.

Wonderful videos, Jenn. Your cats figure deer are just part of their landscape, maybe even part of their family, so they aren't afraid, especially Daisy.

Good the cats have sense to steer away; deer like many cattle-like critters will stomp on anything smaller of which they are suspicious. Keeping it at curiosity level shows the the cats' smarts!! Fabulous that you have such a wonderful visual record of it all. YAM xx
