Skywatching sunset

After rain, freezing rain, and a lovely dump of snow, the skies cleared by sunset.

Lovely sunset, always a pretty sight to see the sun after it snows. Great series! Happy Skywatching and I wish you a very Happy New Year!

I live in a country( Israel) where snow is a rarity. In winter there's snow on a mountain in north of the country, and sometimes on Jerusalem Hills. I live in the central part of the country; no snow here.

So, pictures like those in your post with the soil, trees, roofs covered by snow fascinate me. The lovely sunset is a bonus.
Thanks for sharing.

Happy New Year to you and yours!

Doesn't it always seem to be the way it happens? Cloudy and rainy all day, clearing at sunset just in time to get a tantalizing taste of partial sun, and then a new storm moves in overnight. This time of year Mother Nature can be quite a tease. - Margy
